It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything (I’m looking forward more interaction on this site). I’ve been busy working my plan. I’ve increased my income and got a job I really love as a legal assistant. Everything is going extremely well. I started an internet radio show and am sharing some of my debt free insights there and on my blog. One thing that’s worked for me is writing everything down on paper. I spend my entire check on paper and divide it up accordingly. I just paid off another debt this week. It feels great. I have a ways to go but know I’ll get there. I’ll keep you posted.
It is exactly 1:13 a.m. my time and the blog is officially relaunched! I’ve worked so hard on this website and really do hope you like the Prosperity Blog’s new home. You can visit the Prosperity Blog at www.prosperityblogger.org. Please note that I will no longer be updating the blog on this site but I will leave it active for any lingering community members who may not have heard the news. Here’s a video featuring the new site: Click Here
I have not finished the LiteracyRich video that’s due today and the blog still isn’t ready. I am staying home tomorrow to make sure that both are finished by tomorrow evening. Thanks for your patience and everything will be ready tomorrow!
Talk to you tomorrow!
I’ve been writing about this topic for a while now and we’ve come to the end. I hope you have enjoyed this conversation and I’ll be starting a new series next week. I wanted to leave you with a video and some final words. The past few weeks have been very busy for everyone. I not only had the holidays, I also had this blog and some other blogging projects I am working on (yikes!). It’s been three weeks since I began creating the new home for this blog and I’d say that enough is enough! I am so ready to launch I don’t know what to do with myself. That being said, I’m still not ready but almost there. I am willing myself to work extra hard this week to launch the new site and all of my other blogs as well. You can catch a sneak peek of this blog’s new home at www.prosperityblogger.org.
The video below touches on giving. I decided to post it because it reminds me of what I’m doing with this blog and the other blogs I’m launching. Information is precious. People truly show their gratitude when they receive information that’s helpful to them. This video will also give you insight into what the next series will be for this blog. Can you guess what it will be? Be sure to post your guesses in the comment box below!
Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts. I am going to go insane if this blog doesn’t get launched by next week. It has to launch; I’m done with waiting and will be doing all that I can to see that the blog gets launched this coming week! I’m grateful for you because you energize me and keep me going with this project. I’ve learned so much and am truly grateful to experience this with all of my readers.
Until Next Time,
This post comes as we near the end of the year. I don’t do New Years resolutions, I do themes. Often times these themes aren’t even apparent to me until the end of the year. This year’s theme was building foundation. Here’s how I built foundation this year:
-I graduated from college.
-I became a world server through blogging.
-I discovered a new passion (multimedia blogging and social networking).
-I became healthier by changing my diet and exercising.
-I expanded my community by reconnecting with friends and meeting new people.
-I did a few things on my list of things I’ve always wanted to do like taking Spanish and going on a cruise.
-I’ve gone deeper into my spiritual quest.
-I am now more conscious about money and how it exists in my life.
These habits will carry on into the New Year. I’ll still be doing things on my list of things I’ve always wanted to do. I’m expanding this blog and relaunching it in addition to launching a few other blogs over the next few weeks. I’m expanding my work out. I’m getting a holistically better job and applying to the University of San Francisco School of Law. This year I’ve already figured out next year’s theme: expansion. I’m so excited (I’ve been saying that a lot lately and quite frankly “excited’ is an understatement). What I’ve learned from this experience is that big goals start with small steps and that it’s important to bloom where you are planted. I hope that you will expand and grow with me this year! Please share your personal goals and plans for the New Year by commenting below.
Until Next Time,
P.S. You can get a sneak peek at the Prosperity Blog’s new home by clicking on the image above! I’ll officially announce it once I’m done with the finishing touches.
As I continue with this series I found myself asking what I was going to discuss this week. A memory came to mind. This was actually a few years ago now but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was about twenty-one years old and I’d finally moved out of my parent’s house.
I moved in with my sister and this experience has caused me to grow and learn so much. One thing I learned is how grateful I am to have my sister. I love all my siblings and appreciate them for different reasons. This particular sister comes to mind because I remember expressing gratitude to her early on in our living together as housemates.
She let me move in to her house. This time was challenging for me and I’ve grown so much since then. One thing that I desperately needed at the time was a better home environment. I needed to be around someone who could understand me more, someone that I had more in common with and could learn positive things from. Moving in with my sister has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made at this point in my life.
I remember giving her a thank you card just telling how much I appreciated her support. I don’t even think she realizes how much I needed this at the time and honestly how much it’s meant to me this year to be with her. I’m tearing up a little bit just thinking about how much I needed to be in this environment with her these past few years. I love my sister and am I grateful to have her and all my family and friends.
When was the last time you showed someone gratitude? How can you show someone gratitude? I challenge you to dig deep and think of someone that you are having a difficult time with right now and explore how you can express gratitude to them (think about the lesson you are learning from them and not about the negative aspects of your experience with them).
Until Next Time,
